Abby on the new Playgym we built her from an Omagle building kit. The plastic pipes are held together with plastic connectors and clips.
A full view of the playgym - with Abby trying to figure out how to climb up the arch. The panels near the bottom are to hide the poop covered papers, as well as hopefully keep her from climbing down to the floor.
A view of the bottom.
A slightly different top view:
This is the cage that I refinished for the cockatiels. Actually, I originally thought about having it be either for Abby or the redheads, which was why I chose the color I did - to match Abby's eye rings, or the redheads eye stripes. But, it's a pretty color no matter what bird is in it. :) On the top of it, you can just see the Knex barrier my son built to keep the larger birds from chewing a wooden fuse box cover that is n the wall.
Here's a full view of the cage and the barrier:
Here is a view of the birdy half of the family room. To the left, where you can't see it, is the blue play cage. Right in the center of the room against the wall is Abby's new gym, with Abby on it. In the right corner, is the redheads play cage. You can see Peli inside the cage in this photo. A little in front of the playcage is the playtree we built for the redheads. Usually it has papers on the floor underneath it, to catch droppings. In front of the tree is the T stand, which usually is in the middle of the family room. On the left hand side of the photo, is a baby play gym with birdy safe toys hanging from it.
